Offset Makes Boldly Confess About Reunion with Cardi B As Rapper Admitted His Fault Over The Last Seven Years

Offset confirmed the meaning of his new song “Move On.” In an interview with the Associated Press, the rapper revealed that the closing track of his forthcoming album KIARI is about the end of his marriage to Cardi B.
“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be,” said Offset, 33.
“It’s all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on — it’s over and done with.”
He added: “It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”
The “Bodak Yellow” artist, 32, married Offset in 2017 before filing for divorce in 2020. The pair later reconciled, and were on and off until Cardi filed for divorce from the “Ghostface Killers” rapper for a second time in July 2024.
The former couple share kids Kulture Kiari, 7, Wave Set, 3½, and Blossom, 11 months.
On June 2, Cardi hard launched her romance with Stefon Diggs.
She shared a snap of herself and the NFL player, 31, gazing into one another’s eyes as they laid on the deck of a yacht. Cardi could be seen cupping Diggs’ face in her hands as the pair appear to be a moment away from a kiss.
The following day, Cardi shared her mindset when she was with the Migos rapper on X Spaces, even saying that she would “end up killing” him if they were still together.
The “WAP” musician also addressed the reaction to her hard launch with the NFL player, thanking those who have “been so supportive” and calling out those who were critical.
“I don’t think people understand how tired I was. How tired, how mentally drained I was,” she told fans, appearing to refer to her former relationship. “Drained, drained, drained. Couldn’t eat. I was getting frequent headaches. I was literally losing my mind.”
She continued: “I was literally losing my mind. And I gave it chances after chances after chances after chances after chances after chances.”
If she was “still there,” Cardi said, “I was going to end up going to jail, ‘cause I was going to end up killing them. Seriously, with my own bare hands. ‘Cause it was just getting so … it was just getting too much.”
At the time, reps for Cardi B and Offset did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on June 3.
