The Blind Date Betrayal

Kardashian, who was joined in the audience by her mother and sister Khloé, revealed that while her kids continue to try and set her up, Kris Jenner successfully—and secretly—set her up on a blind date years ago.

Kardashian explained that before Keeping Up with the Kardashians even aired, Kris told her to go to The Ivy restaurant for what she called a “job interview” with a TV executive. Meanwhile, Kris told the executive it was a date.

Kardashian showed up prepared with her résumé. Five minutes into the conversation, she realized what was happening, quickly putting the résumé back into her purse. When asked for comment, Kris Jenner revealed that the man was an Emmy Award winner and, in a joke, asked Kardashian if it would help if he brought his Emmy with him—a gesture Kim immediately identified as a “red flag.”

New Tattoo and No Nerves

The businesswoman shared two surprising personal facts: she claims she oddly “never gets nervous,” even when taking her driver’s test or performing in the Saturday Night Live 50th-anniversary cold open. She even admitted that when she hosted SNL, she hadn’t seen the show before.

Kardashian also revealed she broke her personal rule that you should “never put a bumper sticker on a Bentley” by getting a tattoo. She got an infinity symbol in her mouth, on her inner lip, so no one would see it, sharing the permanent mark with all the friends who came to support her SNL hosting gig.
