The Hollywood Hills Horror: Discord Confession, Decomposed Body, and Alleged Parental Complicity Rock Case Against Singer D4VD
The disappearance and tragic death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas has culminated in a chilling homicide investigation targeting singer David (known as D4VD), with the case growing darker as details of alleged confessions, financial payoffs, and a potential cover-up emerge.
Celeste Rivas, who was reported missing in April 2024, was found severely decomposed in September 2024—the day after her 15th birthday—in the trunk of D4VD’s Tesla, which had been towed from a Hollywood Hills home rented by the singer. Police have since raided the home, seizing electronics and computers, but the most damning evidence is reportedly coming from the singer’s own private communications.
The Leaked Discord Confession and a Disturbing Double Life
Central to the investigation are allegedly leaked Discord messages between David and Celeste, which police are now reportedly reviewing for use as evidence in court. These disturbing messages allegedly include D4VD “literally planning out how he was going to delete her and dismember her body,” and a confession about him impregnating her against her will.
Beyond the murder plot, D4VD is being painted as a predator with a horrifying modus operandi. Sources, including the singer’s neighbors and friends, have allegedly referred to him as a “raging” figure who spoke to multiple under-18-year-olds just like Celeste. He reportedly trained them on how to manufacture fake IDs and taught them how to dress and carry themselves as adults so that no one would “second-guess” their age when they presented themselves as older.
His friends, who frequently partied with him and Celeste, were allegedly under the impression that Celeste was D4VD’s adult girlfriend, claiming they saw her at clubs and parties. They state D4VD told them Celeste was a USC student, and they never questioned her presence in age-restricted places because they believed she was over 18, utilizing the “multitude of fake IDs” she allegedly carried. The sheer normalcy of this alleged cover-up, where the victim was openly living a false adult identity, highlights the depth of the deception.
Allegations of Parental Complicity and Extortion
Perhaps the most shocking aspect of the case is the alleged complicity of Celeste’s own family. Community members and friends of Celeste have gone public with stunning, unverified claims that Celeste’s parents were aware of her relationship with D4VD since she was just 11 years old.
One person from Celeste’s community alleged that “her family knew he was with her since she was 11, they didn’t care, all they cared for was the money given to them.” The source claims Celeste’s mother “sold her for 10K a week” and that D4VD paid so that he would not be “seen as a [predator].” The source further alleges that the mother allowed Celeste to move in with the older man at a young age because the family “saw that he had money and became more dependent” on him.
These allegations seemingly align with a cryptic Discord message found between D4VD and Celeste. When Celeste complained that her parents were “annoying,” he allegedly replied, “Don’t worry, I’ll fix it.” Sources close to the case believe this message was referring to him paying off the parents to keep them quiet and out of the way.
Furthermore, the alleged corruption did not stop with the parents. Friends of Celeste also allegedly “extorted David with money” so that they would not reveal her whereabouts after she was reported missing in April 2024. The total picture, if true, depicts a horrifying network of silence and financial dependence built around a minor victim.
The Fight for the Truth: Destroyed Evidence and Fleeing Suspects
As the LAPD intensified their investigation, the trail was allegedly muddled by suspicious actions taken by D4VD and his manager, Josh Marshall, in whose name the Hollywood Hills home was rented.
The house owner, Malden Trifunovic, revealed that D4VD and Marshall were asked to terminate the lease immediately after the police raid, and they quickly moved out. However, just before their departure, suspicious activities allegedly occurred that may have jeopardized the police investigation. The Ring doorbell camera on the front entrance was recently smashed, with plastic debris scattered on the ground, a blatant act of potential evidence destruction.
Even more concerning is the fate of the home’s security footage. Trifunovic, the landlord, confirmed that cameras were positioned at entry points and in the backyard, suggesting that Celeste’s movements—and potentially footage of the alleged murder and dismemberment—should have been recorded. However, Trifunovic explained that he gives tenants control over the security company accounts so they don’t feel he is “spying on them.” This means the only people who had access to the footage were D4VD and his manager, leading to concerns that any incriminating video was deliberately cleared or “tampered with” before the police could seize it.
A Gentle Demeanor and a Dark Secret
The contrast between David’s public and alleged private life has stunned those who knew him. Neighbors described the singer as “pretty quiet,” noting that he and Celeste “kept to themselves.” They assumed the two were an adult couple, perhaps 18 or 19 years old.
D4VD’s friends, who claimed to have frequently partied with the pair, described the singer as having a “super shy, soft-spoken and gentle” demeanor. They expressed shock that there could be “any remote connection” between D4VD and Celeste’s death. This consistent public portrayal of a “gentle person” is now in sharp conflict with the alleged digital confession of murder planning and sexual abuse.
The final messages discovered before Celeste’s death show that she created a separate Discord account called “deleted user.” A friend of D4VD posted a conversation where the singer allegedly confirmed their relationship and claimed, “Me and deleted user got a kid on the way.” Celeste also posted a photo to the account wearing an engagement ring given to her by D4VD and sporting a new tattoo of his name.
With the body discovered, the Discord messages allegedly leaked, and the horrifying claims of parental complicity circulating, the case has become a national crisis. The investigation continues to focus on all those allegedly involved in the cover-up and the underlying criminal acts, but the community is focused on one thing: finding justice for Celeste Rivas, a victim whose true age and tragic circumstances were allegedly masked by a web of deception, money, and power. The alleged confession and the evidence are stacking up against D4VD, and the possibility of a permanent end to his career—and his freedom—looms large.
