Olympia doesn’t mess around when it comes to covering up her mom’s body she’s not trying to be embarrassed
There’s a moment in every family where the roles seem to reverse when the kid becomes the one giving instructions. That’s exactly what happened in a recent clip featuring none other than tennis icon Serena Williams and her always watchful daughter, Olympia.
You didn’t even need words. Her eyes were basically shouting, “Mom, cover up! You’re embarrassing me!”
Serena looked radiant and confident in her outfit, posing effortlessly while the cameras flashed. But in the middle of the fashion magic, something unexpected and pretty adorable happened.
It wasn’t the wind, a wardrobe malfunction, or even a camera issue. It was someone much closer and with very strong opinions.
That was something her daughter noticed right away and without thinking twice, she jumped into action to cover her mom up, clearly uncomfortable with that part of her being exposed any longer.
Serena gets a surprising ‘cover-up’ order from her daughter
Olympia, who’s used to being by her mother’s side during big moments, saw this as a moment of embarrassment not even for her mom, but for herself and felt like she had no choice but to act on it. Serena was caught off guard by her daughter’s swift and decisive move.
Serena was calmly posing, happily in front of the camera. She adjusted herself and slightly raised her arms right at that moment, her top lifted a bit and her skirt did the opposite, slipping down slightly.
Without thinking and without saying a word, her daughter jumped into action and immediately pulled the skirt back up so her belly button wouldn’t show. That was something her daughter just wasn’t going to allow.
Serena isn’t just a tennis legend or a global fashion icon; she’s also a mom and clearly, a mom whose daughter has no problem keeping her in check.
And she’s probably not the only one. Kids always seem to be alert to the little details they don’t like seeing on their moms. At least in this case, Olympia didn’t hesitate to cover up Serena Williams.
Serena may steal the spotlight, but Olympia is clearly the one in charge when it comes to those unexpected moments. Maybe it doesn’t matter to Williams whether her belly button shows or not but her daughter doesn’t feel the same.
As long as she’s around, she’ll make sure no one sees her mom’s belly button. Does it really embarrass her that much?
