When you are a big celebrity like Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce or Grammy winner Taylor Swift, the media attention and cameras follow your every move.

Sometimes, that can get a bit much, and it can also lead to criticism of you.

We saw that play out after the Super Bowl, when Travis and Taylor’s fame and interest were at their highest.

Due to Travis’ poor play, some pointed the finger at Taylor as a reason why, plus Swift was booed by Philadelphia Eagles fans in the stands, which, of course, didn’t go down well.

Since then, the couple has stayed low and out of the public eye, which seems to have calmed everything down.

However, with Kelce coming back for a 13th NFL season, there’s the potential for it to start up again.

But, according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Travis and Taylor – in a head-turning move – know they don’t have to be the center of attention, while also stating Kelce knows his football form has to be better in 2025.

“[The couple] don’t have to be the center of attention anymore and are going to often not be seen out and about as much as they have been… his on field play needs to improve, and he knows that,” the source told the Daily Mail.

Rebilas-Imagn Images So some have linked Kelce’s poor play to being in a relationship with Swift, and in truth, there isn’t much merit to that.

So if Kelce plays well, is Swift the reason?

We doubt it.

But there can be no doubting the impact that the Super Bowl incidents had on the pair, with how they go about their lives now different from six months ago.

For some, that is the price of fame, and when you are seen as perhaps the biggest celebrity couple on the planet, some people just want to criticise for the sake of it.

But Kelce, it appears, as he gears up for his 13th NFL season, is all about football, and he hopes he won’t be the center of attention due to his relationship with Taylor.
